Introducing... Prototype Magazine

http://prototypezine.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/cropped-web-banner1.jpg

Prototype Magazine really interest us. If you love all things art, you will love this rag! Here's what they have to say for themselves...

"Eye-catching and unique in shape, Prototype magazine is a piece of artwork within itself which stands out on the shelf. Open its beautifully high-quality paper pages to reveal a playground of awe-inspiring artwork, bound together with love. We personally select the most dreamy photography, quirky illustrations, thoughtful words, and inspiring people to fill the pages of each themed issue. It is full to the brim of wanderlust, tales of triumph and handmade delights.

Prototype magazine is an independently run, home-grown magazine dedicated to helping to promote those practicing the creative arts, and for the reader offers a unique compilation of all which will inspire them. It is for the one who has creativity in their soul; the ones who have tamed it and the ones who want to explore it.

We are the arty magazine to promote you, or to drink coffee to."

Onwards and Upwards

We are stepping forth with a few other projects now and speaking to some very interesting people and businesses. We will give them all shout outs and write-ups in this blogspace as they deserve to BE heard by as many as possible.

Let's all step forth together and move towards creating something bigger than just one night events. Let's make a movement.

We can guarantee that these people want to do something great. They will have The Heard's Word.

Settle down, Buzz...some people, eh? A leap of faith does sound tempting, though...

First Event...

So, here it is - the game-changer - our first ever event in an attempt to get people away from their laptops and stop relying on Facebook for their self-fulfillment. The mission behind this evening is to get people who love arts together in one place to appreciate a bit of local talent. There will be music, arts and crafts, a culinary culmination, the best of local businesses and, of course, photography. To put the cherry on the proverbial cake it will all be overseen by the enigmatic posh-o, Dalian Smythe.

We all know how easy it is to just sit back and let someone else do the hard-work or to just give up at the first sign of struggle or hard work, but we implore you to step up and show the community what you have got. Even if you are not a photographer, just bring your interest.

The more success this event has, the better we can offer in the future. We have a lot of ideas in the pipeline and we want to offer the best we can. This may sound as if it comes from a desperate place and this is simply because it does. We have watched idly for years as talent has gone wasted and people have gotten stuck in the cycle of work and alcohol. Aiming feebly for the gutters and finding complacency. Why not try to be more? Why not be heart? Why not be seen? Why not be heard?
